The Secrets Of The Feminine Signs And Why Some People Find Them Boring
A case for Love Island's Scott
We had something quite rare happen on Love Island this season with Scott having all feminine signs in his personal planets, and Catherine having all feminine signs in her personal planets, and them recoupling together. They didn’t end up working out, but I’m struggling to think of another couple who brought this dynamic to the villa.
Earlier this season we saw an argument break out between Scott and the rest of the group (specifically Tyrique) around the authenticity of Scott’s intentions towards Catherine. Scott has always been hard to read, and Scott and Catherine were quiet a lot of the time (you can read their compatibility here), but in this post I want to explore Scott and his situation through astrology.
Scott has only feminine signs in his personal planets, and feminine signs are all the water (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces) and earth (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) signs. These are also known as yin signs, and are characterised by being mostly slow and passive.
The water signs deal with emotions and feelings, while the earth signs rule self-worth and foundations. Most of the themes of feminine signs are internal and unseen.
Scott is mostly water signs, and these signs tend to be highly guarded. When you think of the symbols of the actual water signs - the Crab, Scorpion and Fish, all these animals have methods to stop people from getting too close to them, whether that’s hiding in their shell, stinging, or slipping out and escaping.
There’s meant to be a little bit of distance with the water signs because they represent mystery and privacy, so they’re not supposed to be easily understood.
While water flows, earth balances this by being stable. Or quite simply, earth is about being.
Earth is the slowest moving element, but earth gives slow and steady results - and Scott has described himself as a slow burner.
Earth signs allow for presence in the body, and remind us to slow down and appreciate the little things. But this is not always the most exciting way to be.
